We know you want to make a difference

When you’re a passionate animal lover it’s only natural you want to do everything you can to help animals at risk. But it can be frustrating when you can’t do as much as you’d like to.  Like you, we believe every animal deserves to be loved and cared for – and when you want to make a difference it shouldn’t feel difficult to achieve.

Your support enables local animals to get the care they desperately need

Every member of the team at RSPCA Canterbury and District, is a passionate animal lover, just like you. An independent charity in our own right, we help animals in need across East Kent from Isle of Sheppey to Dover. With your support, our rehoming centre can provide a much-needed haven for rescued animals that arrive on our doorstep in dire straits 24/7. We can only offer shelter to cats right now, but with your support, we could help other animals in your community also in need.

George II - cracking young tabby boy. Bit skinny and needs feeding up carefully - cam in as a very emaciated stray. He loves mealtimes and is very friendly - occasionally the friendliness turns into a bit of a nibble - we think he is frustrated and just needs to get out of the cattery- but would suggest a home with older children who can understand his behaviours. He might be able to live with a cat friendly dog. He's not keen on other cats.
Isabelle - cutie tortie. Would suit a home with older children. Friendly girl.
Izzy - ready for rehoming

RSPCA – caring for the animals in our community, together

While we carry the distinguished name of the RSPCA the focus of the national charity is very different from ours. Their focus is on rescuing animals, while your local RSPCA Canterbury and District charity takes care of recovery, rehabilitation and rehoming. Together, with your support, we give every animal in your community the opportunity for the loving home they deserve.

Make a difference today. How you can support animals at risk in your community:

  • 1 Donate now
    Your support is desperately needed
  • 2 Stay Connected
We’ll keep you updated on the animals your gift is helping to support
  • 3 Make a positive difference
Have peace of mind knowing you’re doing everything you can to help at-risk animals in your community to access the vital support they need.
