By choosing to shop at any (or all!) of our local RSPCA charity shops you will be helping to raise the funds needed to support the running of the animal rehoming centre in Canterbury. It costs an average of £500 every day to keep the rehoming centre open, heated and staffed.
Caring for animals 365 days a year- and never knowing what level of care an animal may need, we rely so much on you choosing to step into one of our charity shops to pick up a bargain, be it a new item of clothing to wear, a new book to read or a piece of furniture for your home.
The funds raised through our nine charity shops in Canterbury, Dover, Deal, Faversham, Herne Bay, Tankerton and Whitstable are spent directly on supporting animals in need in East Kent.
As much as we rely on you purchasing goods we also rely on you to donate any unwanted goods to keep our shops lovely and full! All nine of our charity shops will happily take unwanted gifts, clothing, books and small home furnishings.
With a dedicated free ‘man and van’ service covering the local area directed through our furniture shop in Herne Bay we are also able to collect any larger items of unwanted furniture donations that you no longer want to keep. Our shops in Whitstable and Faversham are also able to take in furniture donations.
Should you like to arrange a collection of larger goods please contact the RSPCA Herne Bay Furniture Shop directly by phone: 01227 366213 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
