The RSPCA Canterbury and District Branch welcomes you.

Established in 1962, the RSPCA Canterbury and District Branch responds to animals in need across a large part of East Kent extending from the east of Sittingbourne down to the coastal reaches of Dover and all the inclusive towns and villages. A new rehoming centre was built to help to accommodate and rehabilitate the many animals needing care, support and new homes. Currently a cattery and small animal rehoming centre, the branch has plans to build kennels and an exercise area for dogs.

As one of 166 independent local RSPCA branches, we are licensed by the national RSPCA and subject to its strict animal welfare standards but as a separately registered charity and largely responsible for raising our own funds. Caring for sick, injured and unwanted animals is only made possible through generous donations and the sale of goods in our RSPCA charity shops located in Canterbury, Deal, Dover, Faversham, Herne Bay, Tankerton and Whitstable.

Our friendly and professional team look forward to meeting you at either one of our charity shops or directly at the rehoming centre very soon!
